The life was made manifest, and we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was made manifest to us–

 1 John 1:2

To testify is to witness, give testimony. Our testimony is the content of what we witness. Throughout the Bible there are many exhortations to testify about Christ. Revelation 12:11 is one of my favorite examples. It says, “And they overcame him (Satan) because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.”

I have many testimonies in Christ, but I have to share this one in particular. I believe it will raise your faith greatly as it did mine!

Dental work has been the cause of great anxiety in my life. One particular molar has given me lots of trouble. I had a root canal, re-treatment of the root canal, and three crowns on this bothersome tooth. The last crown popped up leaving me in need to see the dentist. Upon my checkup, what little remained of my soft tooth beneath the crown, broke off below my gum-line. This put me in need of a dental implant.

With this news, I wanted to find the right oral surgeon to extract my molar also known as #19. I made an appointment with Dr. Neagle after reviewing several referrals. This is where it gets good!

I checked in and waited to be called back after arriving to the office. I instantly noticed an exquisite picture of Noah’s ark centered and framed on the wall parallel to me. This portrait was not the “kid” version of the ark. Many exotic animals were stationed in front of the ark waiting for their next orders to board the colossal ship. They looked so majestic, yet the scene was very sobering. My eye then noticed an iron cross on the wall. This encouraged my heart greatly. I knew they were believers, and I am always eager to support fellow members of the body of Christ!

I was quickly called back for imaging. At this point, my faith was lifted to even greater heights! I saw the most beautiful picture. Jesus was standing between two surgeons with His hands on each of their shoulders as they operated seamlessly. The picture was titled, The Great Physician.

At the glimpse of this picture, I experienced 1 John 4:18 come to life. “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.” All fear was cast out, as the love of God grasped my heart through His Son, Jesus. I knew that Jesus Himself would guide the hands of Dr. Neagle. I did not have to fear any punishment or error coming upon me during this procedure. His presence was and is enough to cast out any fear.

I am so grateful for Dr. Neagle and his act of faith in hanging these extraordinary pictures. In doing so, he testified to God’s living word. Increase someone’s faith and testify to God’s lovingkindness in your life today!

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.

If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest

part of the sea, Even there Your hand will lead me,

And Your right hand will lay hold of me.

Psalm 139:7-10
